As our Biennial Strategic Summit in Washington, D.C. this May approaches, we wanted to let you know that the early bird registration deadline for supporters of secular government is February 28.
This historic gathering on Capitol Hill will bring together leaders, activists, and thinkers from across our movement to coordinate and analyze the Secular Coalition for America’s plan to combat religious bias and restore reason and secular values to our government.

The theme of the Strategic Summit, which will be May 19-21, 2011, is "Our Secular Decade." With the help of our board of directors, we have put together a 10-year strategic plan. We want people like YOU to come and share your ideas for achieving the goals outlined in this plan.
This summit is designed to be an opportunity for fun face-to-face interaction among members of our movement. It will feature strategy sessions for legal and communications professionals within the secular community, a lobby day on Capitol Hill, and opportunities to hear from leading secular voices, such as Arizona state Senator Kyrsten Sinema, recently named by TIME magazine as one of its 40 rising stars under the age of 40 in the United States. There will also be entertainment from performers such as musician George Hrab, a skeptic and host of "The Geologic Podcast." Click here to view the summit agenda.
